Just in case any of you out there were wondering if I liked my job, I actually do it for fun too! These images were taken today of my neighbor, Melissa. Who knew that I lived next to a natural born model?? I thought these images turned out really well. Thanks Melissa for being such a great sport by playing in the leaves and riding a bike in THAT dress! It was a lot of fun.
Now here's a couple after my own heart. A wedding right on the ocean! If only I could have been born a mermaid :) The ocean setting was very fitting since Tim and Michele own a company called Sail San Diego. They offer 3 hour sails around San Diego bay so if you have a special occasion, or just for fun, check them out at www.sailsandiego.com. As you can see the bride and groom are gorgeous and incredibly kind as well. I was only there a few hours but had loads of fun. MY wedding photographer Nathan Petty joined me that day to show off his newest creation called WedSnaps. Check out some of those images at www.nathanpetty.com.
This blog is dedicated to showcasing some of my work and the things that inspire me.
For me, photography is about making my clients feel good about themselves. The thing I love most about photography is capturing the unexpected moments -- the laughs, the looks of love, the mischievous smiles. I capture adventurous women and men in some of the most memorable moments of their lives.
This blog is my personal and professional home on the web and something I'll be adding to over time. It's designed to be interactive and I'd love to hear your input. You can share your thoughts about each update by clicking the 'comment' link beneath it. If you'd like to correspond with me privately you're most welcome to do so by emailing me. Hopefully this will give you a chance to get to know the person behind the camera. My friends describe me as someone who "laughs often, follows her dreams, takes risks, and stands up for what she believes in". In my life, I've been lucky enough to live two dreams: Killer Whale trainer, and now, professional photographer. I'm living proof that dreams do come true.
